The 2010 summer School "Nanosciences Ile de France" is the fourth issue of a series of yearly events. It emanates from the Center of Nanoscience in Ile-de-France (C’Nano IdF, http://www.cnanoidf.org
The 2010 school will include lectures on advanced domains in nanosciences given by international and French researchers well-known in their respective fields. It will be a unique opportunity for young researchers and students to meet at the same place those international senior scientists. Special events, like seminars or discussions, will be devoted to the social impacts of nanosciences (ethic, health, toxicity, law, regulation-jurisdiction...). Another session will provide an introduction on small-business start-up creation.
*_Application and registration_* The total number of places is restricted to 60 participants. Applications should reach the selection committee by April 10. They will be examined by the selection committee according to their order of arrival and their quality. Answers will be given by the end of April.An application form can be downloaded from the school website (http://www.cnanoidf.org/actu-conf/er2010/). It should be sent back by Email to the appropriate Email address specified in the form. At least one recommendation letter is required; it can be sent independently to the same Email address. School registration fees, including full board accommodation, are expected to be around 200EUR.
